We have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions we receive about our employment process.

How do I apply?

Please visit our website at You will see a listing of recent job openings on the right side of the page. To view a full listing click on job listings. Once you click on the job title, a job description will appear. You will need to click on apply online at the bottom of the job description to submit a employment application. We prefer resume submissions in Microsoft Word or PDF format.

Once I apply, how long will it take to hear from Swift Staffing?

We review applications and resumes as quickly as possible. Generally if we feel you may be a fit for one of our current openings, we will contact you by email or phone in 48-72 hours.

What types of positions do you fill?

Administrative/Clerical, Customer Service, Information Technology and Accounting.

What is the average length of your opportunities/positions?

Most positions are for 3-6+ months in length or contract to hire.

Where are the positions located?

Our opportunities are in the Baltimore/Washington area with some occasional needs on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

How often do you update your positions on your website and social media?

We update our openings at least three to four times a week.

What is your hiring process?

Once we review your application/resume, we will schedule a phone interview. We will then set up validated online employment testing.  Video or in person interviews are conducted prior to final selection.

How long does it take to find employment through Swift Staffing?

It can take a few days up to a few weeks. This largely depends on your skills based on what is currently available.

What types of clients/industries do you service?

Our clients include Baltimore City Public Schools, Baltimore County Government, The University of Maryland, Maryland State Government and many others in the information technology, human resources, nonprofit, medical office, property management and management consulting industries.

Do you offer benefits?

We offer health insurance to all employees who work 30 hours or more. In addition, we offer other benefits to include direct deposit, longevity bonuses and holiday pay.  Certain provisions apply.
