Help Desk Analyst needed for a insurance client in Towson, MD. The Help Desk Analyst will provide tier one support to 400 PC users in a Windows XP/Vista/Office 2000-2007 environment. This is a long term contract position.
Troubleshoots basic network operating system (Windows 2000/XP, Unix) functions such as user accounts, network connectivity, print/file sharing, basic hardware and end user issues.
Generates written documentation of procedures/processes and assists Sr. Help Desk staff.
Participates team player in various infrastructure projects such as rollouts, application upgrades or new technology initiatives.
Cross training in daytime or nighttime operations.
