Executive Administrative Assistants needed for our government client in Downtown Baltimore and Glen Burnie Maryland. The Assistants will provide Administrative support to the Deputy Directors. Two year contract position.
Schedules meetings, prepares meeting minutes and distributes reports and meeting materials.
Maintains accurate files, including paper and electronic media.
Developing and implementing the agency’s records retention policy.
Prepare reports including organizational and work flow charts.
Provide support in resolving account holder matters.
Coordinate travel logistics including airfare, hotel reservations and registration for conferences and events.
Coordinates and executes the record retention process for the agency.
Maintains office supplies inventory; placing orders with the procurement officer.
Superior oral and written communication skills.
At least three years of experience providing Administrative support to Executives and Directors.
Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.
Knowledge of organization policies, procedures and systems.
Knowledge of office management practices, and secretarial procedures.
Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation to type from draft copy, review and edit reports and correspondence.
Skill in gathering and reporting information.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to type at least 50 wpm.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to read, write, and speak English
